First Review Coming Soon!

Now that this site is mostly up and running, it is the perfect time for me to start working on TTRPG and video game reviews! I'm super excited to get started on this since that is pretty much the main goal I had set out on this site, is to publish reviews on the games I play.

My plan for now is to start off by posting one review per month. This will give me the chance to figure out what pace I can write at without interfering with my other responsibilities (being a parent, my full-time job, publishing my own TTRPG content, etc.)

When it comes to reviewing TTRPG content, one struggle I face is not having nearly enough time to play everything that I own in a timely fashion... on that note if your home game or stream has an open space (including GM/DM) I would definitely be open to throwing my hat in the ring! To help make it so I can release the reviews that I am planning to write reviews before playing the games I am reviewing (but after reading them over) as a preliminary review, and then returning once I've had the chance to play them and provide a more accurate and experienced review.

For video games, I will be doing my review after completing a playthrough. I normally don't 100% games as that isn't something I find very interesting.

Edit: Now that I have started working on what I was calling "reviews" I think that when it comes to non-5E TTRPG content I will actually be focusing on the perspective of someone who has been a player of solely 5E and how different games/systems/etc. stack up to the 5E experience. The goal here is so that if someone who has played only or at least primarily 5E is open to new TTRPG experiences they can take a look at the game and see where it fits in and what its strengths are compared to 5E - that way if those strengths happen to be what they are looking for they know where to shift their games to improve their TTRPG experience.
